1 · Overview

Sell Seva, Inc. ("Sell Seva," "we," "us," "our") operates the Sell Seva platform, a crosslisting SaaS that allows resellers to manage inventory across multiple online marketplaces. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our website, web application, and mobile app (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Sell Seva is headquartered in the United States. If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, additional rights and protections apply to you. See Section 6 (Your rights).

2 · Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide directly
·Account information: name, email address, and password when you register.
·Billing information: payment details are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers — only the last 4 digits, expiry, and billing address.
·Marketplace credentials: when you connect eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, or Vinted, we store the authentication tokens or session credentials needed to access your accounts.
·Inventory data: product titles, descriptions, photos, prices, COGS, and SKUs you enter into the platform.
·Communications: messages you send to our support team.
·Affiliate information: if you join our affiliate programme, we collect your PayPal email and referral data.
2.2 Information collected automatically
·Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, and session data.
·Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
·Log data: server logs including error reports and API call records.
·Cookies and tracking: see Section 7 (Cookies & tracking) for details.
2.3 Information from third parties
·Marketplace platforms: when you connect a marketplace, we receive listing data, order data, and message notifications as permitted by that platform's API.
·Payment processor (Stripe): Stripe shares confirmation of payment, subscription status, and dispute information.

3 · How we use your data

We use your information to:

Provide, operate, and improve the Service
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Crosslist, delist, and relist your inventory on connected marketplaces
Detect sales and trigger automatic delisting
Calculate and display profit, fees, and tax reports
Send transactional emails (account activity, billing receipts)
Send product updates and newsletters (you may opt out at any time)
Respond to support requests
Detect fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes. Sell Seva products are ad-free — the Service is funded entirely by subscriptions.

4.2 Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sell Seva, our users, or others.

4.3 Business transfers

If Sell Seva is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4.4 With your consent

We may share your information with third parties when you have explicitly consented, such as when you share a success story or testimonial on our website.

5 · Data storage & security

Your data is stored on servers located in Portland, OR, United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
Encryption at rest for all stored data
Marketplace credentials stored using AES-256 encryption
Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
Regular security assessments and vulnerability monitoring
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability, please email support@sellseva.com immediately.
5.1 Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal obligations (such as tax records, which we retain for 7 years).

6.1 EU/UK users — GDPR

Our legal basis for processing your data includes: contract performance (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), consent (marketing emails), and legal obligation (tax records).

If you are in the EU, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our EU representative is Simon Gilles — support@sellseva.com.

We display a cookie consent banner on first visit to all users in jurisdictions where consent is required (EU, UK). To withdraw consent, click "Manage cookies" in the footer.

8 · Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@sellseva.com and we will delete it promptly.

9 · Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by displaying a prominent notice in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
